Meet Megan Loomas!

Megan Head ShotWe’re happy to announce that Megan Loomas has joined the IPG team as a Summer Intern! Megan hails from Benicia, CA,  is in her fourth year at Sonoma State University  and is pursuing a degree in Business Administration.  We asked her a few questions so you can get to know her on a more personal level. Don’t be surprised if she calls on you in the near future!

What’s your hidden talent?
I can wiggle my left ear, but only my left.

What did you do growing up that got you into trouble?
According to my mom, I was a little bit sassy (and apparently still am)

 What’s your nickname?
Megs

What story does your family always tell about you?
When I was five or six, I wanted to get a cassette tape out of my mom’s car, so I turned it on, thought I could drive, and reversed into the driveway across the street, almost crashing into their garage.

What’s a fun fact about you?
I love doing impressions, voices, and funny faces, but they are saved for my very close friends and family.

What was your very first job?
Baskin Robbins- would you like a cup or a cone?

I probably shouldn’t have (fill in the blank) …
A debit card

Have you ever had a bad ass moment?
When I was in kindergarten, I was playing on some very questionable monkey bars, and I fell and busted my chin open. I had to go to the doctor to get stitches, and had to be strapped down because the doctor couldn’t use any anesthetic.

What is the one skill needed to be successful?
Willingness to understand, to listen, and to be compassionate

 What’s your favorite book?
Dark Places by Gillian Flynn. The story had lots of unexpected turns, so I was definitely on the edge of my seat!

 What’s your favorite film?
Wayne’s World (Party on!)

If you could choose anyone, who would you choose as a mentor?
Eduardo Serio, the founder of the Black Jaguar- White Tiger Foundation. His foundation rescues animals and provides them with a loving and caring home. I personally love animals, so I think his cause is incredibly admirable, and would love to have the opportunity to somehow contribute to his cause.

What super hero do you most associate with?
I like Wonder Woman because there’s more to her than meets the eye. I love that she is a beautiful and strong character.

Welcome Megan!
